Playing with their Christmas Toys

It is the best to see your kids playing with their new Christmas toys after Christmas. I remember that excitement when I was younger over Christmas break, playing with all my new stuff. Jayden got a sewing machine and a lot of scrapbook stuff so we set her up a little craft corner in her room. Ashlyn got 2 new American Girl Dolls and Kaylee got a doll that isn't quite an American Girl Doll but Santa reassured her in a letter that if she could take care of the doll he sent she would get an American Girl Doll next year. Of course the kitchen is a hit with all the gadgets and noises it makes. What a fun, fun time of year!

The girls have been begging me for quite sometime now to get their hair cut & I finally caved in yesterday. Kaylee would not keep her hair out of her mouth the last month & it was making me crazy. Ashlyn would just ask me so sweetly if she could get her hair cut. So, here they are looking as adorable as ever! (of course)

Santa has come!

What a fun Christams Day! The girls had so much fun. It was pretty funny because after AShlyn opened all of her gifts she looked at me and said, "So, what are we going to do today that's fun?" I was like, "Um.....play with your gifts." She then smiled and said, "ok" What a funny girl!

Christmas Eve PJ'S

Here are my cute little girls in their new Christmas PJ'S & Slippers. Jayden got Penguin pj's & slippers. Ashlyn got Hello Kitty pj's & bunny slippers (the slippers were on her Christmas list). And Kaylee Bugs got some pj's with a little girl on them that says, "Last night I dreamed I could fly" with some purple slippers. They were all very happy & excited when they opened their pj's. I can't wait to see them in the morning after Santa has come! Merry Christmas!

The girls decided they were going to make their "own" lunches today. So peanut butter and jelly it was! It was a lot of fun to watch them concentrate so hard on such a simple task. They are so cute & fun!

Ashlyn's 1st Grade Christmas Party

Ashlyn's Christmas party was really cute this year. They played a present game (that Kaylee got to join in on) and then Santa showed up surprising all the kids! He had reindeer food & a gift for all the kids. After that they had chocolate milk & donuts. Oh, to be a kid again............
