The girls kick off UEA weekend 10-15-08

This was SO fun but I really got no sleep. It is so comfy in our theater on the sectional but I just couldn't sleep. I contemplated going up to my bed so many times but I didn't want my girls to wake up in the morning and be dissapointed! So I stayed there all night so my girls would be happy & think that they had an awesomely fun mom! My crazy little Kaylee! Always trying to make us laugh!

Saying goodbye is HARD to do.....10-10-08

We went to dinner @ the Brickoven with Josh's parents tonight for the last time in 23 months! It has finally come. Time to say goodbye! It was SOOOOO hard! My little Ashlyn's heart was being ripped out. She was so upset & kept saying I just need one more hug. I took my kids into the car while Josh helped his parents move luggage from one car to another. Ashlyn was sobbing more than I had ever seen! She said she had never been that sad in her whole life! When Josh got into the car & we drove off I looked over @ him and silent tears were rolling down his face. We love Carol & Truman so much! It is going to be hard to not have them for all the holidays coming up! But we need to be strong because we know that what they are doing is right & so we just have to rememeber that & know that our family will be blessed because of their service! Conference Weekend 10-4&5 2008

I LOVE LOVE Conference weekend!!! I look forward to it every 6 months. I can feel the Spirit around me & in my home all weekend. I love to here the messages that will help me become a better person. This is the 2nd time that I have made my kids stay in the room for all 4 sessions. We set up a table with crafts for the kids, a scrapbook table for me, and a puzzle table for Josh. In the past on Saturday night during Priesthood we have went to dinner with Josh's mom & sisters but Carol was up north & Kaylee was sick so my girls & I ordered in Cafe Rio & rented a movie. It was lot's of fun! I can't wait until Spring for our next general conference!
