There is BEAUTY all around

To kick off our Spring break we had FHE up in the rocks behind our house. I am amazed at the beautiful area that I live in. I look around and think, WOW! I am one lucky girl and ever so grateful to live where I do! We went to a place that was about 5 minutes (if that) from our house and it was all enclosed by rocks. It was so neat! We roasted hot dogs and smores. YUMMY! Then the kids hiked around and when it got dark we sat in a circle and got to tell scary stories. When I started mine my girls said, "oh no not this one!" Well I thought I was being clever but ya know how sometimes it sounds better when someone else tells the story....ya...when I was done Tyler, Mckelle, & Kaylee were looking at me like, WHAT???? Hmmmm...well it sounded good in my head!

The Allred's (Courtney's family) were suppose to come with us but Becky, yes another Becky, kinda crazy that my two BFF's are named Becky, got mono! So we snatched Courtney up for the day! We sure love this cute little lady!

Becky's parent's came for awhile with Becky's niece & two nephews. They are so fun to be around!

These things are everywhere in the rocks by our house and they are crawling with tons of worm like things inside! UGH...it grosses me out! I guess they will turn into moths.

One of my "New Loves"

So we got a Bosch this month and I LOVE it!!!! My great friend Becky Thomas is such a good cook and baker, she has inspired me!

Here is my very 1st homemade pizza EVER! I couldn't believe how easy it was and that I had never tried it before. My mother in law has a really good recipe for pizza dough that I need to get because this has become a weekly tradition in my house now. My little Ashlyn isn't too excited about it because she is not a pizza lover if you can believe that!

I have also made cookies, peanut butter bars, & rolls. I am gonna make bread next, keep your fingers cossed that all goes well!

Kaylee bugs LOVES My little ponies. She started liking them in August of 2007 and she still loves them so much!

All Kaylee wanted for Christmas was Pony Disneyland, and she got it!

Oh, and we have My Little Pony music! I hope Kaylee stays in this phase for a long time!! Before I know it she will be interested in cell phones, ipod's, clothes, and boys!!! So for now I will take My Little Ponies and LOVE it!!!

We love muffins with mom's & donuts with dad's!!! I think it really makes Ashlyn feel special that TWICE in one week she gets to have her parents come eat breakfast with her at school!
