Ok! I need some serious help! With what you may ask??? My weight! What can I do? It's not like i'm obese, I really only need to lose 10lbs but I tell ya it feels like I need to lose 100 lbs and it truly feels impossible! I have been going to weight watchers for awhile and am struggling with it. I really have a motivation problem right now & I can't figure it out because I honestly obsess about my weight all day and at night when I wake up. I just need some help so if anybody out there could share something with me that has helped with their success in this area I would be so grateful!
Thanks?

Okay Angee, first of all let me just say that I think you are incredibly beautiful just the way you are. Honestly, we are always our own worst critics. So, try not to be so hard on yourself. You are a gorgeous girl!
However, I have been working on losing my baby weight and one thing that has worked for me is weight training (in combination with cardio and careful eating). But, the key is to build lean muscle because that is what helps your body burn calories. Good luck!
I need major help!! I think you look great...I know all about lacking in motivation, you would think I would take one look in the mirror and never eat again, unfortunatly it just makes me sad so I go and eat more, go figure!!
Hi Angee,
Unfortunately I can't help with the motivation or success area, but I can say something about how the weight is on my mind every waking second. I can relate to that. I need to lose about 20 lbs and it seems like it's a life sentence. I don't get why it's an obsession that I can't get motivated enough to fix. Sorry I couldn't help, although, I believe Jill is right about the weight training. I can say that you are not alone and I think you are a truly beautiful person.
hey posted about this on my blog....
i think you look great btw
Hi Angie!
Well what is motivating me is my upcomming beach vacation.. so plan a vacation where you are going to be in a bathing suit! LOL
Dave and I are also having a little contest to see who can get in better shape so that is a little motivating too!
I know what you mean about the 5 to 10 pounds.. when you really do not need to lose that much weight those are the hard pounds to lose.. the last little 5.
Trish
I think you look awesome also, serisouly you do. For me I love running..with a great running partner its great motivation and running works everything!
Angee, after I had my fourth baby I lost 30 pounds on weight watchers. My mom has lost 105 pounds on weight watchers. If you need any advice on that I can maybe give you a few pointers. It has been a while but I would be glad to help you out. I know how you feel though, I need to lose about 20 pounds and I just can't motivate myself. Anyway, I was just thinking to myself the other day at the school how great you and Lyndi look wishing I looked that great. Don't stress, you look awesome!
Ang, I have known you since the day you were born -- and I think you are absolutely beautiful! But I also know, it matters how you feel about yourself and what YOU see when you look in the mirror. Just reading your comment that you think about your weight all day long. Maybe that's part of the problem. I know when I was in college that first year or two that's how I was -- and that happened to be the hardest time of my life to lose weight. Try not to think about it so much. Think about the good things you are doing for your body -- fueling it with good food and water, giving it exercise and rest. It might take awhile. I personally believe not allowing yourself to eat certain foods (like, "I cannot ever eat ice cream again") is worse for me, because, then I finally cave in and end up binging on it and eating more than I should if it wasn't forbidden. I allow myself to eat any kind of food I want -- in moderation. Also, Ang, it's amazing what the power of prayer can do. Being healthy and maintaining a healthy weight is a righteous goal and Heavenly Father will help you. I just love you so much and I look up to you in so many ways. You can do this!!!
Angee-First of all I want to tell you how good I think you look. I honestly think that we all lack in motivation even if we don't admit it. Food just taste too darn good!I am totally with you on losing the last 5-10 lbs of baby weight. I just keep on telling myself I will try harder when I am done nursing-we will see what happens. When we eventually move by you, we will have to be exercise buddies!
Thanks for sharing. Aren't blog's great?!
