Our Anniversary Date Thursday 5-15-08

We had our date for our anniversary on Thursday due to busy schedules. We went to Las Vegas to Planet Hollywood. We ate dinner and then went to the show called, "Stomp out loud." It was pretty good. It was neat to see all the different ways they could make music.

The ride home was fun too. Josh has been working really long hours and I was afraid he would fall asleep driving (I can't see very well at night, that's why I didn't drive). Anyway I was searching the radio stations and when I found a song I knew I would sing and dance for him. He would look at me like I was from a different planet, but hey, I like to be crazy!

Happy 8th Anniversary Josh!

Josh & I were married in the Bahamas on May 13, 2000. He was actually out there working and had been there a day when he called me at work here in St George and asked me to fly down. He also had a friend there with him that had called his girlfriend and asked the same thing. So we flew down to meet the boys and that night we both got proposed to! When I said yes, Josh said how about Saturday, here on the beach?? I was quite shocked but was up for it. Anyway Josh & his friend had hired a wedding coordinator that worked at the hotel we were staying at so we had a beautiful cake & flowers. We found an LDS bishop in town and our witnesses were the hotel staff (maids, I think). The rule there is that when you get married on the beach you can't wear shoes and you have to do it before the sun sets. It was amazing!

LOVE THAT FACE!

When we got home Josh's mom made us a wedding cake to have with the family.

One year later we were sealed for time & Eternity in the
St George Temple!

Families are Forever!

8 Things I love about my sweet Josh:
1. The way I melt like butter when he pulls me in for a loving kiss and hug
2. How he provides so well for his family. He is such a hard worker.
3. How cute & loving he is with our 3 beautiful girls.
4. The way he loves our dog & is so cute with him (although there are times Josh dislikes the dog)
5. How respectful he is to his parents.
6. Josh has such good heart and is always concerned about everyone's well being.
7. How good he looks wakeboarding.......WO BABY!!!
8. I love going to a funny movie with Josh and seeing him laugh so hard he cries! I love his laugh and his darling dimples!!
I love you so much Josh and I look forward to spending the rest of our lives together......and then Eternity!

Bitter Sweet: Mother's Day

For the past 3 years now mother's day has been bitter sweet for me. Bitter: I miss my mom like crazy! I wish I could call her up & tell her happy mother's day! Last night I was laying in bed & thinking about it. Then I remembered a very special blessing that I received the day of her funeral that told me that my mom could actually do more for me in heaven than she could here on this earth. I don't understand that, right now, but I know that I will someday. I truly believe that Heavenly Father will have a way of letting us make up for what we felt like we lost, or maybe we'll realize how blessed we were and that in the big picture nothing was ever lost! Sweet:
My beautiful family!
Breakfast in Bed
Homemade cards, pictures, magazines, & love letters
Foot massages

Loves from my sweet hubbies!
.....and lot's of kisses! YUM!

I really did have a wonderful day! My kids are so adorable & try so hard to make everything perfect. Josh wrote me a sweet love letter that melted my heart! I love my family & I love my mom, my mother in law, my grandma's, & all the wonderful women that are in my life! I fell so blessed to have the people in my life that I do & I just hope & pray that I can be a loving, kind, & Christlike person to them as well!

Happy mother's Day!

Ashlyn's Dance Recital Saturday May 10, 2008

My beautiful ballerina; Miss Ashlyn Rose

Sassy Jazz & Tap dancer!

It's was funny to watch Ashlyn's personality change from princess in her ballet costume to sassy in her jazz/tap costume. What a funny girl!

Ashlyn & her friend Macey

Ashlyn had her dance recital tonight and did awesome! She had three different dances that she did. The first one was the ballet dance to "The magical princess" then it was her jazz dance to "The Tiki room" and last but not least was her tap dance to "The future has arrived." I think the tap was my favorite because the song was fun and the dance was adorable. Good job little Rosies! You did such a great job & I love you with ALL of my heart & soul!!!

A few more dance photo's of Kaylee Bugs

Dress Rehearsal:
Perfect form Kaylee!

Kaylee's dance was to a teddy bear song. A big teddy bear came out & danced with them & gave them a teddy bear that was dressed exactly like them. So cute!!!

I gave Kaylee a music box Ballerina for her recital & she got a teddy bear to dance with as part of her costume. She said that her doll, the bear, & her were all named Kaylee & that they were twins! I told her that the bear she got from dance was a special bear that would cuddle with her all night so she could sleep in her own bed. When I was tucking her in bed that night she said, "mommy, my teddy bear Kaylee might need to come up & talk to you in the middle night!"

Kaylee's Dance Recital Thursday 5-8-08

OK......so I don't know about the rest of you but taking my 4 year old's pictures is like pulling teeth. She can't hold still for 2 seconds. Not to mention that when I took her pictures right before the recital the sun was in a bad place @ my house so.....I didn't really get the BEST shots of Kaylee but I think they are still cute because I think my little bugs is absolutely darling!

Let me show you my dance moves mommy.
I love this picture! It's like she is in deep thought about what her next move might be!

Kaylee see's a Bee in the bushes and FREAKS OUT!!!

No more pictures mommy! I'm DONE!!!

I love you so much Kaylee!!! You did such an awesome job at your dance recital! You had the cutest smile out there and I could tell by watching you that you felt like the Belle of the ball.

Piano Recital & Choir Concert ALL in the same night! Wednesday 5-7-08

Jayden played a duet with her teacher Jill; Take me out to the ball game. Then she played on her own: Shortbread Boogie, Hall of the Mountain King, and In Concert.

Ashlyn played Skateboard Doodle & Let's go fly a Kite.

Jayden @ her Choir Concert @ the Tabernacle.

Jayden LOVES to sing! Her dream is to be on Broadway when she gets older. She has been a singer from the time she could sing. She was always singing in the tub & everywhere she went.

The girls did so great on their performances! I love them so much and I love watching them show me what they have worked so hard to learn! It makes all the running around I do all year worth it.
